History Programming Is a significant portion of all documentary programming, and is a particular passion of Rod’s. More than half of “Two Rivers” covers the history of white and Northwest Native American relations during the 1800’s.
It was a delightful project, and brought to light interesting and fascinating information. Not many people know for example, of the cordial and receptive attitude towards whites by Natives in the Northwest - Until manifest destiny and white racism began dominating life here at the turn of the century.
